It has been agreed that the lowest paid employee would reflect the Living Wage. Apprentices are subject to their own pay scale not linked to the Living Wage.

Pensions - When you start work for the Council you will be automatically brought into the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) from the first day of employment. For more information on the pension scheme please go to the Nottinghamshire Pension Fund website.
Learning and development – Your employment will commence with a period of induction, you will meet on a regular basis with your manager/team leader to review your progress throughout your probationary period. The Council has an annual performance development scheme in place.
Professional Fees – Employees may receive a contribution towards professional fees, this is dependent upon a specified criteria.
Annual Leave – Employees receive a minimum of 30 days annual leave in a full year increasing by 1 day per year up to 35 days after 5 years service. In addition there are 8 public holidays. Leave is calculated on a pro-rata basis for employees working less than 37 hours per week.
