Graduate Discover Ashfield Project Officer (ADC966)
Salary: £22,183 - £24,491 per annum
37 hours per week
Discover Ashfield is an exciting initiative that was established in 2017. Its mission is to promote the Ashfield area through encouraging inward investment; helping people improve their health and wellbeing and supporting tourism and the visitor economy.
Located in West Nottinghamshire, Ashfield consists of three towns surrounded by beautiful countryside. Rich in natural, cultural and industrial heritage and with excellent transport links, including its proximity to the M1 and A38, Ashfield is in easy reach of surrounding towns and cities, including Nottingham, Chesterfield and Sheffield.
We are seeking an innovative, ambitious and forward-thinking individual who can develop the Discover Ashfield Brand and work with partners to deliver the action plan. Articulate, resilient and skilled in using a range of communications techniques, but most importantly an ability to build rapport and trust with a wide range of people to deliver and communicate shared goals.
Working closely with the Discover Ashfield Board and ambassador groups, the postholder will develop Discover Ashfield across all aspects of campaigns and communications, including social media and events.
Your working day will be varied with competing deadlines, so you’ll need to be efficient, well organised and confident working independently. As well as being able to use your initiative and develop new ideas, you will also enjoy working as part of a team. You don’t need to have Local Government experience; what’s important is that you are passionate, enthusiastic and can learn quickly and communicate effectively.
We promote flexible working with opportunities for learning and development and an attractive benefits package.
