The Council is recruiting a highly motivated and enthusiastic Community Protection Team Leader who will be responsible for supervising on street uniformed officers who undertake enforcement action in relation to Anti-Social Behaviour, Environmental Crime and Neighbourhood Nuisance.
The role will require you to work in hi-visibility uniform and proactively patrol in our town centres, neighbourhoods and open spaces, undertaking problem solving approaches in order to reduce Anti-Social Behaviour and provide reassurance across our communities.
You will need to be highly organised and be willing to and support your team to take forward enforcement action which will include; issuing of notices for environmental crime, anti-social behaviour and breaches of our Public Spaces Protection Order.
Detailed knowledge of tools and powers and statement taking relating to anti-social behaviour and environmental crime investigations is fundamental as well as having experience of managing a team.
The post holder will be required to undertake and successfully pass Police Vetting.
