Our Customer Services Team are looking for two Corporate Customer Services Officers to join our busy team.  

Please indicate which post(s) you are interested in, on your application form. 

1 permanent post, working 18.5 hours per week:

  • 8.30am- 5pm Monday
  • 8.30am - 12.30pm - Tuesday
  • 8.30am - 4.30pm - Friday

1 Temporary post to cover maternity cover until April 2023,  working 18.5 hours:

  • 8.30am- 5pm Monday
  • 8.30am - 5pm - Tuesday
  • 8.30am - 12pm - Wednesday

You will be part of a friendly team responding to a wide range of customer contact over the telephone, by email and at our busy reception at Urban Road, where we also assist customers in accessing our services online in our digital zone. Along with this an element of social media customer contact is being integrated into the team along with some administration tasks.

 You’ll enjoy plenty of support and training to support people who can often be vulnerable or upset and this is a great place to learn about different areas of the council and assist our customers.

 The successful candidate will have a natural ability to talk to people at all levels, have excellent listening and verbal and written communication skills and be passionate about delivering excellent customer service to everyone they talk to.

Currently the team operate hybrid working on a rota basis.
